First, we want to say how thankful we are for  your understanding regarding arrival and dismissal.  We appreciate all of your support with our requests about afternoon pick up, especially with waiting on the grass in front of the school and not walking over to pick up students at the parking lot gate. Your support and our minor adjustments are starting to make a difference. Today we added a microphone so that students could better hear us when we called their names. We have also begun using tents to provide shade during these hot days. I think both were good additions. We are also hoping that as we get used to which students belong to which cars, the pick-up lane will start to move a little bit faster each day.

Our goal now is to try and help improve the morning drop-off, as traffic is still an issue. Starting on Monday, we will open the gates at 8:05. Students will have assigned waiting areas until rooms open at 8:20.  Hopefully, having 25 minutes for drop-off, instead of 10 minutes, will make a huge difference.
